Welcome to Hanging By A Thread Quilt Club!

We are a group of quilters who have been meeting monthly since 2003 in San Angelo, Texas. Our group is open to all ages and skill levels. We invite you to join us on our journey, as we make new friends, and give back to others through quilting.

Teaching the art of quilting

Our group is made up of people with all different levels of experience, and we learn from each other. The meetings typically have a presentation or tutorial over quilting topics such as techniques, tips and tools. Challenges are also offered several times a year to encourage skill building.

Giving back to the community

Our members make quilts that are donated to various charities within our community annually. In addition, our group collaborates throughout the year on a quilt benefiting Shriner's Children's Hospitals.

Building lasting friendships

Being with others who share our passion for quilting makes it easy to bond! We have a social time and a "show and tell" to admire each other's creations.
We also have optional outings throughout the year.

We meet the second Monday of every month in the Shriner's building located at 2915 W. Loop 306 San Angelo, Texas at 6:30 PM for social time with the meeting starting at 7 PM.
Visitors are welcome, and membership is $15 yearly.
